Video: Arguing about Hamas figures

Forty thousand people, mainly women and children?

On Sky News with Dorothy Byrne and Kamali Melbourne, a gruesome story came up about how Hamas had planned to disinter British war dead from a 1917 cemetery in Gaza and hold the remains “hostage” for a ransom payment.

The discussion then devolved into a disagreement about trusting Hamas figures. I never cease to be surprised when people believe Hamas more readily than the IDF. But even if we believe both, the figures – though deeply tragic – reflect well on Israel.
